The crawler tracks are aggressive enough for mud but gentle enough for turf. Turning radius is basically zero.
Arrived well packaged and fully assembled. Checked the fluids and got straight to work.
Tore out dozens of bushes and small stumps. The machine stayed planted and just ripped them right out.
It’s a strong little 1-ton. The protective canopy rattles a bit at high RPMs, but putting a rubber washer in the bolts fixed it.
This 1-ton machine is exactly what I needed. It fits perfectly through my standard backyard gate and the canopy provides great shade.
Due to the size and weight of our commercial machinery, all orders are shipped via standard LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight. The carrier will contact you prior to delivery to schedule a drop-off window. Please ensure someone is present at the delivery location to inspect and sign for the equipment.
We stand behind the robust construction of our machinery. Our 3-year parts warranty covers any manufacturing defects in major structural components, motors, and factory-installed hardware. It does not cover standard wear-and-tear items such as belts, blades, or tires.
Our dedicated US-based support team is ready to assist you. If you require troubleshooting, installation guidance, or need to order replacement parts, simply reach out to support@usaminiex.com. Include your order number and machine serial number for the fastest service.
We accept returns on unused, uncranked machinery within 30 days of delivery. Because of the logistical complexity of LTL freight, returns are subject to a restocking fee and the buyer is responsible for return freight costs. Please contact support immediately if an item arrives damaged so we can file a claim with the carrier.
Heavy commercial freight to the lower 48. Free lift-gate included on all deliveries.
Comprehensive parts warranty straight from our warehouse (maintained service log required).

I tow this on a small single-axle trailer behind my SUV. It’s so lightweight and easy to transport to different job sites.
Samuel T. –
You simply cannot find a brand new 1-ton excavator with a canopy at this price anywhere else.
Frank M. –
I had to get into a low-clearance basement and removing the canopy was just a few bolts. Very versatile.
Victor N. –
It’s a solid digger. The controls were a little jerky when I first started, but once the fluid warmed up and I got the hang of it, it smoothed out.
Matthew C. –
I use this for my small landscaping business and it paid for itself in less than two months of work.
Scott L. –
I was skeptical of a 1-ton, but the hydraulic pump puts out serious pressure. Great ripping power.
Brian N. –
This engine sips fuel. I ran it for almost a full weekend on a single tank. Very cost-effective to operate.
Timothy R. –
We use it for digging up sewer lines in tight city lots. It’s the only machine that fits in most of these spaces.
Mike M. –
Used it to lay down irrigation lines across my property. It’s narrow enough that it doesn’t tear up the whole lawn.
Paul W. –
I bought this instead of doing manual labor for a retaining wall project. Best decision I ever made. Lifts heavy stones easily.
James R. –
I rented 1-ton excavators for years before buying this RIPPA. It performs just as well as the name brands for a fraction of the cost.
Patrick N. –
The engine compartment opens up nicely and all the filters and grease points are very accessible.
Jeff W. –
If you are new to operating equipment, this is the perfect machine to learn on. Very forgiving and safe.
Justin P. –
The open design gives you a perfect view of the bucket and your surroundings. Makes precise digging very easy.
Derek S. –
I’ve been working it hard for a month. It digs great, but the paint on the counterweight scratched off pretty easily when I bumped a fence.
Raymond H. –
Engine runs great and it digs well. I really wish a hydraulic thumb came standard on this model, but I plan to add an aftermarket one soon.
Jose M. –
The engine isn’t overly loud, which is great when working in residential neighborhoods early in the morning.
Adam G. –
With a narrow bucket, this thing is a trenching monster. Fast cycle times and great breakout.
Ryan S. –
The rubber tracks are thick and seem very durable. Haven’t had any issues with them slipping or popping off.
Gary F. –
It took me about 10 minutes to get the hang of the controls. Now I look for excuses to use it around the yard.
Peter V. –
The excavator is exactly what I wanted, but the freight company delivered it three days late. Machine gets a 5, shipping gets a 3.
Luke P. –
It’s amazing for getting through 3-foot gates! Because it’s so narrow, you do have to be careful when swinging a full heavy bucket to the side.
Jason O. –
For a 1-ton, the reach and depth are excellent. Plumbed a new water line with zero issues.
Shawn E. –
I debated buying a used big brand or this new RIPPA. So glad I went with the RIPPA. Brand new machine with zero hours.
Sarah L. –
Don’t let the 1-ton size fool you, this thing has impressive breakout force. I dug a 50-foot trench in a few hours without breaking a sweat.
John S. –
I was surprised by how smooth the hydraulic system is on such a small machine. Very precise control for digging around pipes.
Kevin D. –
If you have a few acres, you need one of these. Cleared brush, dug drainage, and moved compost with ease.
Kyle D. –
The boom looks very heavily reinforced. I’ve been doing some heavy prying on rocks and it doesn’t flex at all.
William P. –
The canopy is sturdy and really helps on those hot sunny days. The controls are intuitive and easy to learn.
Tyler B. –
Everything is laid out well. The control levers are at a comfortable height and the foot pedals are solid.
Trevor F. –
The digging power is superb for its size. The tracking speed across the yard is a little slow, but it gets the job done safely.
Gregory K. –
The canopy is a lifesaver in the summer. Provides just enough shade without getting in the way of low branches.
Eric T. –
Barely leaves a mark on the grass when tracking over lawns. Customers love that I don’t destroy their yards.
Edward J. –
Despite being so narrow, it feels very stable when digging off the side. The blade anchors it nicely.
David H. –
The ultra-compact size is a lifesaver. I use it for indoor demolition and tight residential landscaping. Tracks maneuver effortlessly.
Gordon C. –
Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The seat is pretty basic and gets a bit uncomfortable after 5 or 6 hours of continuous use.
Aaron C. –
We have larger machines, but this 1-ton gets used the most because of how easy it is to mobilize.
Andrew V. –
Had a minor question about the hydraulic fluid change and their support team was super helpful and fast.
Marcus L. –
The machine digs incredibly well and fits through my gate. I’m giving 4 stars because the legroom is a bit tight if you are over 6 feet tall.
Chris B. –
The engine fires up immediately every time. Very reliable piece of equipment for my weekend landscaping jobs.
Steven H. –
The track width is perfect. I can get into backyards that larger machines could never dream of accessing.
Colin B. –
The RIPPA R10 performs beautifully in my yard. The instruction manual could definitely use a better English translation though.
Benjamin W. –
If you need a micro excavator, look no further. The R10 is reliable, strong, and perfectly sized.
Dennis H. –
Moved a couple yards of gravel in no time. It’s small but it works incredibly hard.
Daniel K. –
The steel feels thick and the welds are clean. It definitely feels like it can take a beating on the job site.
Mark T. –
This 1-ton machine is exactly what I needed. It fits perfectly through my standard backyard gate and the canopy provides great shade.
Nathan R. –
