3-Year Parts Warranty

Our Commitment to Your Machinery’s Uptime and Durability

At Iron Excavator, we stand behind the durability and performance of our equipment. Every mini excavator purchased through our store includes a comprehensive 3-Year Parts Warranty directly fulfilled from our Fort Collins, Colorado warehouse. We are committed to keeping your jobs running smoothly with minimal downtime.

⚠️ Important Requirement: Maintain Your Service Log

To ensure the longevity of your machinery and maintain the validity of this warranty, routine maintenance is strictly required. This warranty remains active exclusively for customers who maintain and can provide a verifiable Service and Maintenance Log. Failure to perform standard maintenance (such as oil changes, greasing pins, and filter replacements) or failure to provide the log upon claim submission will void this warranty.

Warranty Coverage Details

Our 3-Year Parts Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal commercial or personal use. If a component fails due to a manufacturing defect within three (3) years of the delivery date, Iron Excavator will provide the replacement part free of charge.

What is Covered:

  • Engine Components: Internal engine parts, blocks, and manifolds (EPA-certified diesel engines).
  • Hydraulics: Main hydraulic pumps, drive motors, swing motors, and control valves.
  • Structural Integrity: Chassis, boom, and arm weldments (against manufacturing-related structural failures).
  • Electrical: Main wiring harnesses, relays, and factory-installed control panels.

What is NOT Covered (Exclusions):

This warranty covers parts that fail due to manufacturing defects. It does not cover:

  • Labor Costs: The cost of mechanics, travel time, or labor to diagnose or install the replacement parts.
  • Consumables & Wear Items: Fluids, filters, rubber tracks, bucket teeth, pins, bushings, belts, hoses, and batteries.
  • Operator Abuse or Neglect: Damage caused by improper operation, overloading, accidents, rollovers, or use in applications beyond the machine’s rated capacity.
  • Lack of Maintenance: Failures resulting from running the machine with improper fluid levels, contaminated fuel, or failure to grease moving parts.
  • Modifications: Any machine that has been altered, modified, or equipped with unauthorized aftermarket parts.

We process claims quickly directly out of our US-based warehouse to get you back to work. To initiate a claim, please follow these steps:

  1. Gather Your Documentation: Have your original order number, the machine’s serial number, and a copy of your up-to-date Service Log ready.
  2. Document the Issue: Take clear, well-lit photos or a short video showing the defective part and the overall condition of the machine.
  3. Contact Support: Reach out to our warranty team via email or phone.

Once approved, replacement parts are typically processed within 1-3 business days and shipped via standard ground transit from our Fort Collins facility.
